    Antique Brown Dee Bit, 5" Snaffle Mouth w/Copper Inlay, 3" Diameter Rings w/German Silver Engraved Trim
    Some call this the Clinton bit because this bit or one very similar was made popular by Clinton. A very sharp and attractive snaffle bit with 5" mouth and German Silver trim. Not only is this bit a show piece, it may be one of the most practical bits you can own. The mouthpiece is made from stainless steel with copper inlay to reduce rust, offer good taste, and encourage a moist mouth. The mouthpiece has a gentle curve backwards to add comfort and help encourage softness and lightness in our hands. This snaffle has a hinged Dee Ring that has extremely tight tolerances to resist pinching. Under the German silver is antique sweet iron in all the right places. This bit is the best of a D-Ring and an O-Ring! The rings are a large 3 1/2 inches. The large hinge and rings help reduce the bit from sliding through the mouth. A well-balanced, comfortable snaffle that would be good to start a young horse with, and continue to use as training advances. Many similar bits sell for .00 plus.
