, the clinician who designed them. We offer them in purple, red
, blue, and black.
If you prefer a different color, please request the desired color on the Paypal invoice . If you don't request one of these colors on the Paypal invoice, a PURPLE set will be sent with this listing. The purple halters come in foal, weanling, small, average, large, and draft.
(Note that weanling and foal size halters are only tied with two knots on the noseband due to their sizes.)

DETAILS OF EACH BELOW:
#1. THE LEAD =
THIS IS AN EXQUISITE HANDCRAFTED PURPLE DOUBLE BRAIDED POLYESTER LEAD WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES IN GENEROUS PROPORTIONS. It is made from a Samson 1/2" EQ braid yacht rope, made specifically for hand to horse training.  WE SELL A LOT OF LEADS & HALTERS, BUT THESE TOP THE LIST!
The lead is 14 FT. in length and 1/2" in dia., a perfect length and diameter for training horses of all ages. It is long enough to teach ground work at a safe distance, but not so long that you are dragging or bundling excess rope up in your hands.
It features a generous 5 inch hand spliced and sewn loop for ease of changing hardware, a heavy 4" Brass Bull Snap and a full 6 inch weighted end.
This lead has AMAZING feel.
The smallest of wiggle at one end easily carries the full length of this lead.  This is the most important action any lead can offer. Try the same with the leads sold at your local feed store. It won't happen. The feel of this lead makes it a perfect choice for hand to horse training. It should not be used to tow machinery, drag firewood, or in a tie ring smaller than 5 inches.
#2. The Halter =
It is made from a stiff, full-bodied 1/4 inch double braided polyester yachting cord.   If you are familiar with those used and sold by C. A. , this halter is a twin. It's design discourages horses from pulling and leaning against it. This halter is comfortable on the horse when he doesn't pull and becomes somewhat uncomfortable when he does pull.  Horses soon learn the "right" behavior to find the "comfortable" feel. The halter's 4 nose band knots successfully communicate cues when lunging, leading, or flexing.  The  knots are strategically located on the pressure points of the nose to help get the horse's attention if he should refuse to yield to pressure.
We have this halter in every size from new born to draft, but average ( which fits most 900 to 1100 pound horses) will be sent unless another size is requested on the Paypal invoice.
ITEM#3 TRAINING STICK =
THIS IS A SINGLE PURPLE 4 FOOT PROFESSIONAL THOMEY HORSE TRAINING STICK WITH A 6 FT. LASH & POPPER. (Photos of full length and both ends show above.)
THIS STICK WAS DESIGNED WITH A BIT MORE TAPER OUT TO THE END THAN SOME CARROT STICKS, MAKING IT LIGHTER, BETTER BALANCED, AND QUICKER TO USE. IT FEELS EVEN LIGHTER THAN IT'S 10 OUNCES OF WEIGHT.
IT IS MADE FROM HEAVY DUTY FIBERGLASS THAT GIVES THEM GREAT STRENGTH AND FIRMNESS. I HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS AND HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE BREAK. IT FEATURES A LEATHER TOP WHICH IS DOUBLE BOUND WITH STRONG THREAD.  IT ALSO SPORTS A SOFT, BUT FIRM, 10 INCH TAPERED RUBBER HANDLE. THE LASH IS EASILY ATTACHED AND REMOVED THROUGH THE LARGE LEATHER LOOP.
These sticks are used to create pressure from a safe distance while teaching groundwork exercises. They are essential for quick results and to maintain a safe distance when working with disrespectful horses. A small plastic bag can be easily attached to the end of the stick to aid in desensitizing .
Great thought has gone into the design and creation of this training set. It has all the bells and whistles!  A perfect combination!
